Nilesh qualified at the Birmingham School of Architecture. Following graduation, he worked for conservation architects in London on projects at The British Museum & Fitzwilliam Museum. This was followed by work on office projects in the West End, City of London and a Belgravia townhouse.

Nilesh later joined landscape architects Gustafson-Porter+Bowman, where he became an Associate. He was project architect for their Old Market Square in Nottingham and also worked on an archaeological park in Abu Dhabi, as well as high profile competition entries with architects such as Foster+Partners. Recently he has combined freelance work with architects, landscape architects and garden designers whilst also developing his own film projects.

His debut film qualified for the short documentary Oscar® category, and is held in the collections of the British Film Institute and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

His work as an Architect or filmmaker involves; developing a concept, organising structure, selecting materials, sculpting with light and considering the smallest of details. He aims to create work with a strong visual style and is interested in the look and feel of a project and to give the visitor or viewer a memorable experience that engages all the senses.
